Some of you may have always carried a yearning for both an inner spiritual journey and an outer adventure journey to the country of India… hmm?
What do I mean by the Inner Journey?

What I call the Inner Journey is your own unique spiritual path in life. When you make time to consciously explore and walk down your spiritual path… much can berevealed … what is your life purpose and calling on the planet, what are your currentvalues and prioritiesand possibly what is your right livelihood and work at this time in your life.

I am guessing that some if not all of these issues are important to you … I find India an incredible place to slow down and explore what is next for you in your life and look at what is really important and calling to you to focus on.

For me to know what is next on that path… I need to slow down… stop my busy schedule… and check in with myself to see what I need to do next, and how I can better take care of my body and soul.

Usually this means time for:

    * Regular meditation

    * Regular exercise, stretching and yoga

    * A healthy diet

    * Time for myself to play

    * Time for fun with others

    * Free time for creative and artistic endeavors

    * Time for contemplation, reflection and giving space to hear the Devine and hear her message
* What are you missing in your life… and what does this particular trip embrace?

Leaving space for spontaneity, roaming and a sense of free time… imagine what it would be like to be loving a gentle with yourself? Stop pushing to do more, be more, be better and drop judgments about yourself and comparisons with others. On this trip we will be exploring these issues and encouraging ourselves to leave our “regular” lives behind and to step into the here and now present and listen to what India is telling us. India has a way of “speaking her truth” to each of us. We’ll be listening for these messages and taking time to journal and do coaching sessions to clarify and understand what these unique messages are for us.

Here is a section I wrote in my journal during my January 2006 meditation retreat in Jaipur: “I feel myself aligning with my inner being. Being here straightens me out – like the end of a good yoga session… my body feels stretched out and relaxed and my mind has emptied out – it’s quiet, serene and peaceful. I sink into relaxation – non-pushing – simply being and enjoying this moment. “

Spirituality has a mysterious quality… it leads one inward to discover:

Who am I?
What is my path in life?
Who are my partners along the way?
Who are my teachers and what are my lessons?
What do I bring to offer to others? To our planet?

All of these questions do not have a perfect or correct or sequential answer. There is an element of mystery as the answers reveal themselves and oddly enough, there is no predicting when a flash – a sudden illumination may occur – and an understanding and clarity about what life is about may reveal itself. Ah, this moment of revelation seems pure and clear and it comes from within to me! I embrace the mystery and mysteriousness of when these revelations show up. I am so excited when I get my message. I can put my inner critic back in her cozy den, and celebrate my knowing self! I can celebrate that I am traveling on my mysterious path… and that I am in the right place at the right time!

Trust

Let’s explore the concepts of Trust – and Tether your camel.

As I see it, trust means slowing down to check into yourself, embrace the quiet yet all knowing inner voice to be your guide – and then going forward from that centered, bulls eye, target… forward to where you need to step next. There is a conscious, easy, flow in your actions when you move forward from a trusting space.

Now, what does “Tether your camel” mean? Simply put, for me it means take your conscious, trusting energy and move into positive action. As you take your first steps, trust will grow and fear and anxiety will disappear.

Is it really okay to trust? Is there such a thing as trusting your life will unfold exactly as it should? Who controls trust? Is it yourself or is it a mystical, esoteric god/goddess?

I choose to let myself sink into trusting in the universe to show me the richness and depth of all of life’s experiences… the sublime and the unfair.
If trust was flowing through your veins.. you’d know “this too shall pass” – from the greatest love to the greatest loss. Trust would ease you forward,
It would be your special inner voice, your awareness of what is next. Trust would be your guide who leads you down your own unique and special path.

What a true and amazing gift making friends with Trust can be for you in your life.

Trusting in life is not about controlling and manipulating everyone and everything you come into contact with.

Trusting in life does not look like pretending to appear trusting on the outside – and yet mind fucking yourself to near death with doubt and fear on the inside.

Trusting in life means there is a larger, more amorphous mystical entity that is merged with your being… and together you walk down life’s path and experience what your life has to offer.
