Hi, I am Timo Navsky… I’m a certified personal and professional life coach (CPCC) . What I do for a living is help people rekindle their connection with that part of themselves which deep inside knows that they can create a wonderful, fulfilling, adventurous and satisfying life. I help people find their strengths, tune into their natural talents, stir up their passion for going after a great life and their biggest dreams!
I have completed a rigorous training and certification program at the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the largest coach training organization in the world, where I earned the designation of Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. I am a member of the International Coaches Federation, as well as past Vice President and Program Chair of the North Bay Coaches, a Bay Area professional coaching organization. I have been coaching since 2001 and have helped hundred of people move out of frustration and confusion… on to inspiration, clarity and action.
To better assist my clients interested in a structured, time-limited program to find a better career, I have taken specialized training with pioneering life coach Laura Berman Fortgang, author of Now What? 90 Days to a New Life Direction. As an Authorized Now What?TM Program Facilitator, I coaches individuals through the step-by-step NOW WHAT?TM program of guided, powerful, questioning, exploration, and action steps and homework designed to create the foundation for your next career.
On a more personal note..I have a huge passion for world travel and adventure. I amaze even myself by returning again and again to India, my spiritual home… I’ve lost count of the number of trips I’ve made there - it’s somewhere around 25 trips. I love to leave my busy western lifestyle behind, to wander the crazy Indian streets, to try new spicy treats, and to mingle with humanity… I find India to be an amazing place to reconnect with myself in a quiet way… and to come up with new directions and creative ideas. Over and over people have asked me to take them to India, and last year, 2006, I led my first Coaching and Adventure Trip to India, where we toured colorful Rajasthan, went to the Taj Mahal, went adventuring to the largest Camel Fair in Asia (20,000 camels are traded) and went for a meditation retreat. Next year, I am planning another tour to the holy city of Benares, and the River Ganges.
I have lived and studied with Osho,an enlightened Indian master, studied meditation, lived communally and worked doing many different types of jobs. Besides living in India, I have also lived in Greece, Switzerland and Germany for extended periods of time.
I am also a Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) - I studied at the Gemological Institute of America, and since 1990 I have been the owner of Navsky Imports, a wholesale gemstone, bead and pearl business. I love to travel the world buying gems and selling them to designers and jewelry stores in the Bay area.
Other bonus tidbits: I have always loved animals. We have a black-lab mix named Jasmine, a grey French Chartreux kitty named Chanterelle and pond critters - 7 koi fish, a local frog and a turtle.
My husband Marshall and I are “eclipse chasers” -we travel when possible to see total solar eclipses around the world. One of my nicknames is “Radar Woman” - because if I’ve been somewhere once… I can easily find my way back again. Lastly, a new hobby of mine is looking skyward and learning about hawks and other raptors of California.
